The directors of Thalapathy Vijay’s film The Greatest Of All Time (GOAT) want to employ artificial intelligence to portray late actor Captain Vijayakanth in a cameo role.
Thalapathy Vijay is going to play the protagonist in the film The Greatest Of All Time, often known as GOAT, directed by Venkat Prabhu. The film is set to open in theaters on September 5, 2024.
In a recent interview with Galatta, Premalatha Vijayakanth said that the creators of The GOAT will employ artificial intelligence to revive and depict her late husband Vijayakanth in a cameo role.
She said that filmmaker Venkat Prabhu had visited their home multiple times to obtain her approval, with Thalapathy Vijay also planning to contact her after the election.

Premalatha, the head of the political party Desiya Murpokku Dravida Kazhagam (DMDK), who is actively campaigning for the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, stated, “Venkat Prabhu visited our house 4-5 times and had several rounds of talks with my son.” He also asked him to meet me, claiming that Vijay wished to see me in person.”
Thalapathy Vijay is now balancing his political ambitions with cinema career. In terms of forthcoming film ventures, he is going to appear in Venkat Prabhu’s The Greatest of All Time (GOAT). Meenakshi Chaudhary has been announced as the film’s lead heroine.
Another actress’ prospective involvement has recently generated a lot of talk online. According to recent rumors, Trisha Krishnan, who previously featured with Vijay in the film Leo, is expected to make a brief cameo appearance in The GOAT.
Although rumors imply that her role has already been shot, an official word from the film’s production team is needed to corroborate this information.
The film is being produced by Archana Kalapathi, Kalapathi S Aghoram, Kalapathi S Ganesh, and Kalapathi S Suresh under AGS Entertainment.
The film also stars Jayaram, Sneha, Laila, Yogibabu, VTV Ganesh, Ajmal Amir, Mic Mohan, Vaibhav, Premgi, Ajay Raj, and Aravind Akash.
