Thalapathy Vijay’s Ghilli will be re-released in theaters to commemorate its 20th anniversary; more information is available below.

All Thalapathy Vijay fans and Tamil audiences are well aware that Ghilli is a classic film that never fails to leave an impression, whether it is streamed on OTT platforms or seen on television. And now, 20 years after its first debut, the picture is ready to return to theaters.

The creators have stated that Thalapathy Vijay’s film Ghilli would be re-released globally on April 20th, 2024. The film was a huge hit in 2004, catapulting the actor to new heights.

Ghilli, starring Thalapathy Vijay and Trisha Krishnan, was an official adaptation of Mahesh Babu’s film Okkadu. Despite being a remake, the film’s treatment, Vidyasagar’s absorbing musical tracks, and the actors’ compelling performances made it a cult favorite in Vijay’s career.

The film is best renowned for Prakash Raj’s distinctive and evil acting, but it also popularized Vijay and Trisha’s chemistry. Dharani directed the romantic sports action film, which follows Velu, a state-level Kabaddi player.

Regarding Vijay’s current film slate, the actor is expected to make his big screen debut this year with the film The Greatest of All Time, directed by Venkat Prabhu.

The film is said to be a sci-fi action film featuring Mic Mohan, Prasanth, Prabhudeva, Jayaram, Meenakshii Chaudhary, and a number of other actors in key parts. Furthermore, there are reports that the actor would present his purported final picture shortly, with H Vinoth as the director.
