Thalapathy Vijay is preparing to launch his political party, as sanctioned by the general council of his fan club, Vijay Makkal Iyakkam, barely months before the Lok Sabha elections. This big development occurred during a conference in Chennai on Thursday.
During the meeting, reports said that the Kollywood megastar was given the option to register his party, take the job of president, and create its bylaws.
Vijay, known for his large fan following in Tamil Nadu and Kerala, has actively participated in a variety of public welfare programs.
While presently filming his 68th film, ‘GOAT’, with director Venkat Prabhu, Vijay is apparently contemplating this as his final production before taking a break from acting to focus solely on his budding political ambitions.
