For quite some time, Kalki 2898 AD has been one of the most awaited films. The film features a star-studded cast that includes Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, and others.
Prabhas, the pan-Indian actor who appeared in Salaar: Part 1-Ceasefire, is slated to return to the screen in Kalki 2898 AD, a mytho sci-fi thriller produced by Nag Ashwin and starring Deepika Padukone.
During a recent interview, the film’s music director, Santhosh Narayanan, praised Prabhas, calling him a sensation. Narayanan indicated that Prabhas is a phenomenon.
I’m working on something unique for Prabhas’ movie introduction. I’m reworking the beginning work since it has to be massive and mass.” His statements have raised anticipation for the picture.
Aside from the dynamic pair of Prabhas and Deepika Padukone, this high-budget cinematic attempt features a star-studded ensemble that includes Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Disha Patani, Pasupathy, and other famous actors in key parts. Kalki 2898 AD is a science fiction film directed by Nag Ashwin, who previously directed Yevade Subramanyam, Mahanati, and X-Life (a piece in the anthology film Pitta Kathalu). The project was first announced in 2020 under the working title ‘Project K,’ with Prabhas playing the protagonist.
This time, Prabhas is starring in a film directed by a well-known filmmaker. Prabhas’ supporters believe Nag Ashwin, whose previous film was the critically praised Mahanati starring Keerthy Suresh and Dulquer Salmaan, would provide the actor a decent part.
