After experiencing success once more in 2022 with “Vikram,” actor Kamal Haasan began filming for his next project, Shankar’s “Indian 2.” The movie started filming last year, and the shooting is almost over. Currently, the actors and crew are in Johannesburg, South Africa.
The actor Kamal Haasan is reportedly enjoying a vacation in Johannesburg before filming an action scene for “Indian 2.”
The 1996 film “Indian” was followed by “Indian 2,” which was released in 1997. Directed by Shankar, the sequel stars Kamal Haasan, and Kajal Aggarwal in lead roles and the rest of the cast includes Siddharth, Bobby Simha, Rakul Preet Singh, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Guru Somasundaram and Kalidas Jayaram.
The Crew had already completed filming in Taiwan, and director Shankar tweeted a photo of himself and Kalidas Jayaram taken on the site.
After years in the works, Indian 2 is now taking form thanks to the success of Kamal’s independent film Vikram. According to rumors, the movie will be released on Pongal 2024.
