The long wait is now over for Allu Arjun’s fans, as the trailer for his highly awaited film, Pushpa 2: The Rule, is now available, providing a preview of what everyone can look forward to in theaters on August 15.
The next film has the Telugu actor reprising his role as Pushpa Raj and is a sequel to Pushpa: The Rise (2021), which went on to become a countrywide box office smash, and will pick up where the original left off. The Pushpa 2 teaser, helmed by the popular Telugu director Sukumar, was unveiled on Monday.
The Pushpa 2 teaser opens with a jatara, in which followers are shown giving prayers to Goddess Kali. The graphics then transition to shots of a ghungroo, jhumkas, and someone with kohl-lined eyes and a bindi on their forehead.
We then watch a person in a blue silk saree spin around with a Trishul before being presented to Allu Arjun as Pushpa Raj as Goddess Kali, who is beating up the bullies in the audience.
The Pushpa 2 The Rule teaser shows Allu Arjun looking more intriguing and merciless than he did in Pushpa: The Rise, and fans will undoubtedly expect him to come out blazing on all cylinders once again.
According to rumors, Janhvi Kapoor has been approached by the filmmakers to appear in a special song for the film. The song is said to be an item song, similar to Pushpa: The Rise’s Oo Antava, which featured Samantha Ruth Prabhu.
The song became a smash hit, receiving a lot of acclaim and love from the internet. Meanwhile, the creators have made no official declaration about Janhvi Kapoor joining the movie.
Pushpa 2 will be Sukumar and Allu Arjun’s fourth on-screen collaboration, following the Arya franchise and the 2021 feature film Pushpa: The Rule.
In addition to Race Gurram and Rashmika Mandanna, the film has Fahadh Faasil, Jagapathi Babu, Prakash Raj, Sunil, and others in significant roles. Furthermore, Mythri Movie Makers has financed the film, and National Award winner Devi Sri Prasad, commonly known as DSP, composed the music.
